Alex comes to Cordoba with 25 years of industry experience, including 22 years at SoCalGas, where he provided expertise and leadership in Operations, Emergency Management Services, Pipeline Integrity Management and Gas Engineering. His design and engineering experience ranges from meter set assemblies, gas infrastructure, system modeling and code compliance validation efforts for system MAOP.
Alex led the effort in ensuring compliance with the Federal Gas Transmission Safety Rule, which took effect in 2019, and played a key role in emergency response and communication as the Manager of the Emergency Operations Center.
Alex graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA from The University of La Verne.
In his role at Cordoba, Alex will support the Energy Sector’s efforts to expand and enhance the technical depth and expertise to support our gas utility clients in Gas Engineering and Pipeline Integrity Management.
