Cordoba Constructs First EV Rule 45 Job in North San Diego

The New Business team in San Diego is proud to announce their first EV Rule 45 job to be constructed! The Circle K at 13007 Camino Del Sur in North San Diego are proud owners of their new onsite EV Charging Stations. As of this month, electric vehicle drivers can stop and charge at either of the 180kW Dual Port DC Fast Chargers now available at this location!

This unique build is the first of over (50) EV Rule 45 jobs that have been prepared by our Technical Planning team and booked to design at SDGE. The new CPUC Tariff Rule 45 is one specific to the implementation of a statewide EV infrastructure, in the effort to increase availability of operational EV charging sites by minimizing front-end costs to the EV provider and reducing construction schedules. To do so, SDGE has partnered with Cordoba’s New Business team to represent SDGE and collaborate with numerous EV service providers like Tesla, EVgo, and Electrify America just to name a few.
