Benefits of Working at Cordoba Corporation

At Cordoba Corporation we are committed to providing a healthy and happy lifestyle for our employees—both at work and at home.

Cordoba offers an outstanding benefits package and great perks for you and your family. We continue to invest in our employees’ benefits and aim to meet or exceed industry standards.

Cordoba offers employees multiple medical and dental insurance plans to choose from, and also provides vision insurance coverage. We subsidize all plans and provide further financial assistance for those employees who elect coverage for their dependents. Coverage for all plans begins on the first of the month following the employee’s hire date; there is no additional waiting period. Cordoba also provides all employees with an employer paid AD&D and Life Insurance Policy. Employees also have the option to elect additional voluntary life insurance to supplement the employer provided coverage and/or add dependents to their policy.

We strongly believe in planning for the future of our employees and their retirement plans. We demonstrate this by offering a generous 401(k) plan with an employer match of $.50 for each dollar contributed, up to the first 7% of an employee’s salary, a match that is higher than the industry standard.

Cordoba offers its employees between two and four weeks of vacation depending on years of service. Cordoba also provides sick leave and 10 designated holidays throughout the year.

We also have five types of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs): a Medical Care Reimbursement Account, a Limited Purpose Medical Reimbursement Account, a Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, and two Transportation Benefit Accounts, one for commuter benefits and another for parking. The FSAs serve to help alleviate rising healthcare, dependent care and commuting costs by allowing employees to set aside pre-tax money for qualifying expenditures. We also offer an employee assistance program that provides employees and their family members with personal support on a variety of important topics to help encourage their well-being, across everything from stress management and nutrition to financial wellness. In addition, we offer employees other value added benefits, such as employee discounts at participating theme parks, restaurants, theaters and other retailers, including gym membership discounts. We believe that the health and fitness of our employees is essential to their success and our overall success. Our success is also based on our unique culture focused on diversity, inclusion and teamwork,  and we foster that culture by providing opportunities, such as hosting summer and holiday socials, to enable our employees to relax, network and get to know their fellow employees.

At Cordoba Corporation human capital is our greatest asset. We invest significant time and effort in recruiting our employees and more so in building upon their skills and talents. We endeavor to retain employees by creating an environment of opportunity and growth and inspire a sense of ownership in the company’s mission. We offer employees the opportunity to participate in our mentoring and professional development program, Cordoba’s Blueprint for Success. We also offer employees lunch and learn sessions, and the opportunity to participate in approved outside courses, training, seminars, and certification programs. Additionally, Cordoba is committed to cross training its employees and allows them mobility among offices and projects to encourage career transitions and growth. Employees are encouraged to work on a variety of assignments that span Cordoba’s four sectors. Furthermore, Cordoba’s flat organizational structure gives employees access to the company’s top management and encourages them to provide input during the decision-making process.

Diversity

Our people and our values are our greatest assets. As an organization, Cordoba Corporation strives to make a difference, and a key component of our success is finding people who share this value. We recognize that differences in age, race, gender, nationality, physical ability, thinking style, and background bring richness to our work environments. Such differences help us connect better with the infrastructure needs of communities throughout California. We believe that attracting, developing, and retaining a base of employees that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we work is essential to our success. We also believe success hinges on relationships with diverse stakeholder and civic groups.
