At Cordoba Corporation, human capital is our greatest asset. We invest significant time and effort in recruiting our Cordoba Team Members and building upon the value of these “assets” for the long-term. We endeavor to retain our Cordoba Team Members by creating an environment of employee satisfaction and a sense of ownership in the company’s mission.
As part of our effort to provide professional development opportunities for our Cordoba Team Members, we provide an internal education and professional training program called “Blueprint for Success”.
Blueprint for Success is an in-depth education and training program that provides team members the opportunity to learn and process industry insight from our Senior Management Team to further their professional development. This employee-oriented and team-focused program provides participants exposure to all facets of Cordoba Corporation’s business through a series of workshops developed by members of Cordoba’s Senior Management Team. Workshop topics include: Leadership, Overview of Services and Experience, Client Management, Finance and Profitability, Vision and Implementation, and Work-Life Balance.
The workshops are spread out over a period of several months and provide participants with the opportunity to network with colleagues from other sectors and to learn from our senior leadership. Typically the workshops are held in person and sometimes rotate between Cordoba offices. In addition, depending on the number of employees involved and where they are based, participants may be divided into two smaller parallel classes to ensure the workshops are more personalized and engaging. Due to the pandemic, the recent Blueprint workshops were held via Zoom.
Once the designated workshops are completed, participants are asked to give a final presentation to the Senior Management Team to share their insights about what they learned during the program. Participants are also provided constructive feedback about their presentation skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
During the recent Blueprint for Success program, executives provided participants unique perspectives and a deep understanding of their individual workshop’s subject matter. Participants heard from Cordoba Corporation Founder & CEO George L. Pla, Managing Partner Maria Mehranian, Executive Vice President & COO Randall D. Martinez, Executive Vice President Lucy Labruzzo, Senior Vice President Michael Boomsma, and Vice Presidents Sam Tenorio and Conrado Ayala.
