Cordoba Corporation’s Managing Partner Maria Mehranian Moderates WINS Conference

A speaker addresses the audience at a conference titled "WINS 2024: The New Politics of Water." The stage features a panel of five seated individuals, and the event is set in a large banquet hall with attendees seated at round tables. The room is illuminated with blue lighting, and the backdrop includes event branding and sponsor logos.

The Water Infrastructure Networking Summit (WINS) has evolved into a groundbreaking initiative spanning five counties: San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino.

This year’s expansive event was dedicated to fostering a new era of politics in water management, addressing critical needs, and exploring funding opportunities for regional water and wastewater infrastructure.

WINS brought together a diverse group of leaders from different sectors as they highlight infrastructure vulnerabilities that impact our regional economy and communities. The goal was to facilitate dialogue between regional industry leaders and officials from local, state, and federal government agencies to create a path forward through collaboration and empowered innovation.

Our Managing Partner Maria Mehranian’s substantial institutional knowledge in policy as well as large scale water infrastructure projects has earned her acknowledgment as a water policy expert, playing a pivotal role in the development of California’s water supply, quality, and resource policies. Her broad expertise has afforded her the opportunity to participate as a panel moderator in the WINS Conference for a panel on”Navigating New Waters Advocating for Resiliency in Evolving Political Landscape”.
