November 27, 2019
Press Releases

Maria MehranianCordoba Corporation’s Managing Partner and Chief Financial Officer Maria Mehranian will host Armenia Fund’s 22nd Annual International Thanksgiving Day Telethon in Los Angeles. The telethon will take place on November 28, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST. It will be broadcasted live from Yerevan from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST, and then the Armenia Fund will lead the program from Los Angeles from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PST through a virtual bridge with Yerevan.

The theme of this year’s telethon is “To My Beloved Armenia – Life-giving Water and Sun for Communities.” Proceeds from the pan-national event will benefit the installation of solar-power systems in towns and villages in Armenia and Artsakh, and the construction of drinking water and irrigation networks in both republics.

“I am pleased to once again be a part of the Armenia Fund Telethon 2019,” said Armenia Fund President Maria Mehranian, who has hosted the annual telethon for the past several years.

“With the implementation of our flagship programs this year, vitally-important irrigation water and cutting-edge technologies to harness the power of the sun will become available to farmers throughout the Homeland,” continued Ms. Mehranian. “This will greatly improve the quality of life of rural communities, especially in border regions. I look forward to inspiring people to support our cause and help build sustainability in Artsakh and Armenia.”

In addition to being live-streamed on Armeniafund.org, the telethon will also air live in Southern California, Central California and the San Francisco Bay Area on the following channels:
