Farveh Makhssous is a Principal Planner with over 14 years of experience working on a wide range of projects such as transportation and transit planning, public engagement and communication, environmental planning, land use planning, economic development, and comprehensive and long-range planning. Farveh has extensive and diverse experience working with municipalities, public agencies, private firms, and nonprofit organizations. Farveh is well regarded for her outstanding project leadership and exceptional relationship-building skills. Throughout her planning career whether in the private or public sector Farveh has always stayed true to her passion for building livable communities with the consideration of equity and diversity.  She is experienced in managing large and complex projects, understands client needs and priorities, and is skilled at tying those needs back into the stakeholder engagement and ongoing communication between team members and project partners.
