Sonia Babian is a Project Manager with over 11 years of project and construction management experience in education, facilities and transportation fields.  Currently assigned as a Construction Manager for the Inglewood Unified School District, she is experienced in overseeing all phases of projects from conceptual design through construction close out.  She is well versed in utilizing all project control modules in Expedition Contract Manager and Unifier, and she is proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and Bluebeam.

Sonia has participated in delivering a range of small to large complex projects from planning through close out, including modernizations, new construction, interim facilities, landscaping, storm water retention systems, furnishing and equipment procurement, and move management.  The projects have included the management of a 900-space design-build parking structure with a rooftop solar array; retrofit of a maintenance facility; numerous smart classroom buildings; a design-build LEED platinum certified culinary arts and classroom teaching building; administrative buildings; and other new and renovation projects, including associated interim facilities and move planning. She has worked on two design-build projects at Long Beach Community College — the Parking Structure & Solar Array and the Math Tech & Culinary Arts Building, which received LEED platinum certification and is a recent Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Award Winner.
