Andy has seventeen years of experience in overhead transmission and distribution line engineering. Andy’s expertise includes transmission and structure design, emergency operation support, bid and estimate preparation, owners’ engineering specifications, developing engineering construction packages, and project quality control. He is proficient with NESC, RUS, GO-95, and various EPRI, ASCE, and IEEE standards.
Andy is an industry expert in the PLS-CADD suite of software. He has provided PLS-CADD and MicroStation training in multiple offices throughout the U.S. and has been a regular participant in PLS-CADD’s Advanced Users’ Group.

As Director of Engineering and Design for Cordoba, Andy is responsible for leading three teams – engineering, design, and planning – that support the development and maintenance of electric utility infrastructure. His teams provide design and owner’s engineering services for transmission, distribution, and customer’s electric service, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Andy leads cross-functional teams to support project planning and execution, while also providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. With seventeen years of experience in the field, Andy brings a wealth of expertise in electric utility engineering and design to this critical leadership role.
