As a Director of Operations Scott Britt brings over 25 years of successful management experience overseeing all aspects of operations including safety, traffic, purchasing, production scheduling, efficiencies, maintenance, quality control, ISO compliance, environmental  management programs, and inventory control.

Prior to joining Cordoba Corporation, Scott worked for Kloeckner Metals, an international steel service center and manufacturing company. His roles included Corporate Director of Operational Excellence in North America and Director of Operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA, one of the company’s largest plants in North America consisting of a 12-acre site with a 220,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant.

As a Corporate Director of Operational Excellence and Director of Operations, he created a Lean Manufacturing environment across multiple divisions and helped develop KPIs for operations departments across the country. Scott directed implementation of the Kloeckner Metals 10C/5S program, including the training of all shop personnel, supervisors and managers. In addition, he developed a successful divisional reorganization layout and implementation plan.

While in Santa Fe Springs, he managed movement and installation of all machines, material, and construction required in the facility; coordinated with multiple contractors and divisional personnel to ensure smooth transition while merging two facilities; and reduced overtime by 68% saving the company approximately $680k over two years. He was responsible for control  and management of expenses and developed annual operating and CAPEX budgets.

Scott joined Cordoba in March 2020.  As Director of Operations, he is responsible for overseeing a variety of corporate amenities including fleet management, safety, and facilities. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he also serves as a Project Manager supporting special projects in Cordoba’s Water Sector.
