Southern California Gas Company and San Diego Gas & Electric Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan
Cordoba Corporation is the overall program manager for the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan (PSEP) and provides a full spectrum of services including project management, planning and scoping, engineering and design, and project closeouts for the testing and/or replacement of numerous gas pipeline segments throughout the SDG&E and SoCalGas service territories.
Cordoba Corporation provides environmental services including preparing and implementing planning and permitting documents as well as providing construction support to proactively solve issues in the field and ensure that construction schedules are met. We also provide permitting expertise, which includes providing permitting support for agencies such as Caltrans and Union Pacific Railroad and obtaining all required permits. For example, we implemented a permitting strategy to reduce the Caltrans permitting lead time from over a year to just four months and obtained blanket permits for shoring plans as well as developed multiple approvals/policies for permit exemptions.
Cordoba Corporation provides engineering and design services that include selection of routing, configuration, and construction layout planning; selection of material; preparation of the bill of materials; coordination and management of survey contractors; development of complex shoring plans; preparation of alignment drawings and potholing plans; preparation of traffic control plans; construction review and coordination; land interface for right-of-way; planning services for outage and compressed natural gas service; coordination with internal and external stakeholders; environmental project management services; project controls and scheduling; regulatory workpaper development; engineering support during construction activities; and closeout support.
